Additional Information

TFG Holdings—the parent company of JustFab, ShoeDazzle, and FabKids—has agreed to a $4.8 million multistate settlement with attorneys general from 33 states following allegations that its VIP membership programs misled consumers.

State officials alleged that many shoppers were unknowingly placed into recurring subscription plans that charged approximately $49.95 per month. According to the complaints, the terms of enrollment were not always clearly explained, and some customers experienced difficulty canceling their memberships, resulting in unexpected fees.

As part of the agreement, $3.8 million will be distributed as automatic refunds to eligible consumers, while $1 million will be paid to participating states to cover penalties and administrative costs.

Consumers who enrolled in a VIP program before May 31, 2016, made a single purchase, and did not take further actions—such as skipping months or using account credits—will receive refunds without needing to file a claim.

Customers who believe they are owed additional compensation beyond the automatic refund may submit a request by emailing TFGHoldingResolutions@jfbrands.com or by contacting their state attorney general’s office no later than January 30, 2026.

Business Practice Changes

In addition to financial relief, TFG Holdings has committed to updating its business practices, including:

  • Providing clear and upfront explanations of VIP membership terms, fees, and cancellation policies
  • Requiring explicit consumer approval before enrolling users in subscription programs
  • Eliminating misleading countdowns, pressure tactics, and promotional claims
  • Offering a simpler, more accessible online cancellation process
  • Issuing refunds for certain charges incurred within the past year

These changes are designed to improve transparency and give consumers greater control over their memberships.
