Additional Information

Telehealth provider Lemonaid Health has agreed to a $3.25 million settlement over claims that it shared sensitive patient information with third-party companies such as Facebook and Google without users’ consent. Anyone who visited the company’s website during the six-year eligibility period may be entitled to a portion of the settlement fund.

Lemonaid Health provides online medical consultations and prescription services for a variety of conditions, from cold sores and acne to anxiety and erectile dysfunction, allowing patients to receive care without visiting a doctor in person. Given the private nature of these services, users reasonably expected their health information to remain confidential.

According to the lawsuit, this expectation was allegedly violated. Plaintiffs claimed that Lemonaid embedded tracking pixels on its website that collected personally identifiable health information and transmitted it to advertising networks and other third parties without users’ knowledge or permission.

These pixels—small pieces of code typically used for marketing and analytics—allegedly transmitted data about what pages users visited and which services they were interested in. For a telehealth provider, sharing information about sensitive topics such as mental health or sexual health can pose serious privacy concerns.

Lemonaid Health has denied any wrongdoing and has not admitted to disclosing user information improperly. The settlement was reached to avoid the costs and uncertainty of ongoing litigation.

How Payments Are Calculated

After deductions for attorneys’ fees, administrative costs, and service awards, the remaining funds will be distributed evenly among all claimants. The larger the number of valid claims, the smaller each individual payment will be.

  • Up to $1,083,333 may go toward attorneys’ fees.
  • Class representatives may receive up to $55,000 in service awards.
  • Administrative costs are still being finalized.

The remaining balance is split among eligible claimants.

Who Qualifies
Anyone who visited lemonaidhealth.com at least once during the eligibility window is likely part of the settlement class. You do not need to have created an account or made a purchase; simply visiting the website qualifies.

Payments will be made electronically to online filers, unless a paper check is requested. Those filing by mail will receive payments via check.

Important Dates:

  • Claim Submission Deadline: February 23, 2026
  • Opt-Out or Objection Deadline: January 5, 2026
  • Final Approval Hearing: January 20, 2026

Payments will be distributed after the court grants final approval and resolves any appeals.
